Hello everyone. I decided to join this community as I was diagnosed autistic in December last year. I’m an older man and am only just coming to terms with all this. It has made me closer with my granddaughter who is also autistic, it’s something we’ve created a special bond with which is nice.
My granddaughter told me her special interest is monster high. At first I thought I might not have a special interest but actually I think mine may be music and electronics, as both are things that are dear to me and I’m able to lose myself in. I am also interested in classic cars, a small hobby for me these days but a good one at that!
