How's your Saturday going?

Hi everyone. Hope you're having a good Saturday. I'm thinking of watching some Family Guy shortly, or maybe listening to some music. Has anyone got any suggestions for cool new artists? Some of my new favourites are The Pigeon Detectives, The Sherlocks and As December Falls, they're such awesome bands! Have a great weekend. Bye. Andrew

  • Oh no, it's not great to get caught in a storm. We've been to Florida and we got caught in the biggest thunderstorm ever. It was nice to know that you were able to donate to the textile bank.

  • Hello, thanks for replying. Thankfully, I don't have to do all the chores as I still live with my mum and stepdad. We've got 2 dogs: a chocolate Labrador called Bella and an Alaskan Malamute/German Shepherd called Olly. People say he looks like a wolf. He is pure white. Unfortunately, he wasn't well last year; he had a minor stroke but he pulled through. They're both 12 this year. We had cats, but they passed away sadly. Our eldest got to 18 years old. Sorry your bag split. I could imagine what word you were saying LOL. I have a red button, that when you press it, says bulls**t. It was one of my favourite Christmas presents ever.

  • This afternoon I got caught in the rain, thunder and lightning. The main thing was I donated something to the textile bank. Vanessa Mae plays the violin.

  • Hi, thanks for replying. Sorry that your Saturday didn't go as planned but I hope your Sunday has been better. I'm not exactly sure what an annual survey is. My mum knows about Vanessa Mae. She plays the violin?

  • Hi, thanks for replying. I watched some TV with my mum and stepdad; I really like The 1% Club as I like trying to answer the questions, I didn't do too bad last night. Gladiators is good, so we watched that too. I'm on a health kick myself and also trying to get fit. I went out for a drive last weekend in my stepdad's new car, I mainly like going up and down dual carriageways.

  • Hello, thanks for replying. Hope the tree's been moved from your road. Thankfully, we didn't get the storm too bad here. I don't know much about Classic FM but I DO have Alexander Armstrong albums that I listen to at night to help me relax. The 1st one is A Year Of Songs and the 2nd one is Upon A Different Shore. My favourite songs that he sings are MacArthur Park, Stranger In Paradise, A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square, On Days Like These and Scarborough Fair.

  • I had a really good walk with Fearn earlier, then came home and did the usual saturday tasks of emptying bins, doing the recycling, I emptied the cat litter tray and the bag I was emptying it into split, I said lots of words begining with B.

  • Hi AndrewVictorious Had a slow start today as my road was still blocked with fallen trees from the storm yesterday. I don’t have any recommendations for specific artists. I tend to listen to radio and Classic FM music. Enjoy the rest of your day.

  • My Saturday is good thanks.

I went for a drive and a walk in the sunshine.

I'm trying to get fit so walked further than my legs want to go if they were allowed to choose independently.

I hope you have a great weekend too.

  • This morning didn't go to plan...positive outcome was I did my annual survey. Also today it's a sunny day still cold.

Music genre I like is electric instruments, afrobeats, classical crossovers e.g. Vanessa mae and relaxation.
