Hi

Hi. I was recently diagnosed with autism after years of struggling with life and feeling like I didn't belong with other human beings. The diagnosis hasn't come as a shock but I am feeling a bit overwhelmed by it all, guessing that's normal or it could just be me. Finally knowing I'm autistic has been a relief for me though. At times I've felt a bit lazy for being unable to work and socialise but now I realise it's all normal for me. That feels nice knowing.

As there's no after diagnosis support in place for adults it seems I thought it might be a good move to find an online group community so here I am.

Post diagnostic support varies around the country (if you are UK based?). Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire are excellent, but other parts of the country are sadly lacking.
