Looking for friends :)

Hi, I am 21F and I’m looking to make some autistic friends. I live in Scotland but I’m more than willing to make some online friends too!

Some of my main interests are;

  • Books/writing (I want to be an author)
  • Musical theatre, especially Team Starkid
  • Strictly Come Dancing
  • Disney
Parents
  • Hi! I'm Para. While I'm currently living in Thailand and working as a Foreign English Teacher, a lot of my extended family live in Scotland. After my contract ends, i'll be staying in a village near Elgin. I'm happy to stay in touch via dm's if you like!

    As far as my interests go:

    - Big into games. Whether that be Video Games, Board Games or Online D&D.

    - I'm thinking of getting into hiking a bit when i'm home. One of the places I was planning on visiting was the Hebrides to get a feel for it.

    (Edit) - Oh and I really love dogs too. No idea how that one slipped my mind, but yeah. Can't wait to get one once I find a place of my own at home.

  • Hi Para, I love board games but I can never seem to find anyone to play with! I’m absolutely awful at video games, the most I can do is animal crossing and Mario kart/party. I do like watching videos of people playing Undertale on YouTube though

  • Yeah, finding places is becoming increasingly difficult as of late. I know there's a Geek Retreat in Aberdeen but it feels like if you're not based near Edinburgh or Glasgow you're basically out of luck.

    There are some ways to play online like Tabletop Simulator but thanks to the 7 hour time difference between Thailand and home, I haven't had the chance to play recently. Something you could look into maybe?

    Also, I was thinking since writing this about getting some stuff to read on buses and the plane home on a Kindle/other reading app, but I haven't figured out what I want to read yet. I'd be happy to hear suggestions.

  • It tends to vary. Growing up I read things like Harry Potter, but now I tend to read Fantasy (usually D&D adjacent) when I need a distraction from life.

    Tabletop Simulator is normally around £10-15 on Steam. I'd recommend giving it a look!
