And I have a 9 yr old boy who has control and anger management ssues along with defiance and a fear of failure but apparently he is fine ?!?!? We have been fighting to be heard for a few years now trying to get people to listen to us and even tho we have finally been accepted to the cdc I am at breaking point and could really do with some help? I need help dealing with my childrens behaviour so if anyone knows how to calm or get thru to a 13 yr old on a hyper that would b a great start thx xxx

  • Hi - welcome Smile.  There's lots of info via the home page + posts so have a look there.  Also, school can be terribly stressful for our children, esp if they don't have the support they need there.  There are loads of posts from parents who say their child lets it all out at home after managing to cope in a fashion whilst at school. Secondary school can be v difficult.   Also she's hit puberty so that cd be adding to her angst.  Check out your rights about getting a diagnosis - that shd also be available on the home pg.  Our children like routine, some of them have sensory issues as well.  What's she saying about how things are?
