Hello Everybody

Hi. 

I'm a 53 yr old married dad, with 2 kids 10 and 6. 

Just joined because my 10 yr old son has nearly finished the ASD assessment and we've been told he's probably going to score 7 on the scale which meets the criteria for diagnosis. 

It's actually a relief because it explains a lot of his difficulties and behaviors etc. 

Not entirely surprisingly, the process of assessment has highlighted that I'm almost certainly on the spectrum too.

A lot of things make sense now. I always thought I was autistic. I think I knew it. For some reason it never occurred to me that my son was on the spectrum though, I thought he was just..... sensitive.

Anyway, you don't want my life story. Hope you're all well.
