A message from the moderation team

Dear Online Community Users,

Thank you for being a part of our online community.

We would like to remind you that we our moderation team are a small team of volunteers and the online community is not moderated 24/7. Our forum is designed to be a safe and welcoming place for those that use and visit it for support and information about autism.

We encourage you to report any posts that you consider to be breaking our online community rules and guidelines by using our ‘report abuse’ button. Alternatively, emailing the CommunityManager@nas.org.uk mailbox with links and screenshots of where you consider the rule break to have taken place. We take rule breaks very seriously and each report will be investigated by our moderation team with what we deem as appropriate action.

We have seen the recent threads published to the forum over the weekend and will not tolerate users breaking our online community rules. We would like to remind you in particular of rule 5:

Be nice to one another and enjoy chatting with others. We encourage conversation and respectful debate; please be aware that individuals may give opinions which are not shared by other members. Insulting posts or comments making personal jibes will not be tolerated.

Kind Regards,
The Moderation Team
