Never been on Facebook.....nor anything else of that ilk.  Defo more lonely than it needs to be if you adopt this attitude.....but I'd rather take my chances with loneliness rather than submit to something that I believe to be (at best) pernicious, monitored group-think ..... and at worst, an existential species risk. 

Perhaps that is overstating my case, but probably not!

thank you! I'm just sick to death of social media, and this is a great way to learn and connect without seeing all the rubbish on Facebook! :)

Hello, good to hear you have achieved your diagnosis and I can identiy with the "ALL the research" challenge.  It certainly can feel like a sort of "whole life catch up with yourself".  I am confident we will get there before too long (wherever we each of us find we decide "there" is comfortable for us).
