50 years old and awaiting an autistic/adhd diagnosis

Hi. 

Ever since I can remember I have felt different from everyone.  Could never understand why but just felt different.  Even felt I'd been swapped at birth!  Writing that sounds crazy! 

I always thought everyone was the same as me -  sensitive to sounds, smells, tastes, touch and needing space!

And noise, oh my goodness   If someone opens a packet of crisps or eats an apple on the train, I move to the other end of the carriage!

There is so much i need to say but very little to say to those around me. That's why I've arrived here!  

I'm at the start of my journey
