Urgent advice needed

Hi, I have 5 children aged 15,13,10,4,2.

my son aged 13 has only been diagnosed with autism, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder and conduct disorder this year.

he is a school refuser. I cannot get him to school. We have been refused a statement for special educational needs. Which I am appealing against the decision.

School don't want to help, children services want to help but so far are not forthcoming.

How do I get an autistic child to go to school ?

Complain to your MP that he is refusing school because he is lacking the support he needs that would be available through a statement. Get the MP to put pressure on the LA.

Record your son's behaviours such as meltdowns so that you have evidence and start keeping a daily diary.
Tell the LA they are preventing him getting an education.
