Hiya, I'm new here.
I'm a autistic adult whom is still learning about one self. Trying to find ways to help me deal with my disability. As well as make new friends
I work full time, can drive, got a partner but still live with parents.
There will some questions and discussions from me soon
I was diagnosed 20 years old.
Hi
Well I was diagnosed when I was 8 and a doctor prompted my parents to get me diagnosed.
I slightly remember my mom saying if it wasn't for that doctor who suggested to get a diagnostic, then I wouldn't of found out I was autistic.
There's a new game group which may attend as enjoy doing this.
Hi Tamsin. Thank you and it's nice to meet you too
Hi, thank you
And that's really nice to hear that you attend a group with lots of nice activities involved
Hi Meg, welcome to the forum, it's nice to meet you
Hi Meg.
I would be really interested in knowing how you got your diagnosis, and what prompted you to find out in the first place?
Hi there
Welcome to the community forum.
I belong to a friendly woman group. Do different activities like pebble painting, painting bird boxes and card making. Also have guest speakers. Really good value for money which includes afternoon tea and a biscuit.
I've seen workshops in my town which are expensive.
Some Saturday mornings I do yoga with a good teacher, which is a good start of the day. I book the class online.
In my last year in my 30s.
