Hi, I'm Kit. I have autism and am from Cornwall. I like to read and write, though do find it harder because of dyslexia. I'll be 25 soon. I'm interested in music and history.
Hi Kit, welcome to the forum. What genre(s) do you like to read/write? :)
Hi bees, thank you. I like history, non fiction and fantasy. I write a lot of history, based on my favourite countries but I'm not very good at it.
No I've not but thanks for suggesting it. I'll definitely be watching it! I looked it up and it sounds like something I would really like to.
Oh nice, have you seen the tv show Goodnight Sweetheart? It's not a big production and what you see on set is very limited but I thought it was really good in terms of story and characters (it's a drama/comedy with time travel), it makes a lot of 1920-40s culture references too which are really fun to pick up on.
They are amazing little animals aren't they. I've always loved bees! When I was a child I had a bee backpack and a matching umbrella lol. That's funny about you and the other user, I'll keep a look out for them and try to remember it's someone else. :D Are there any other Kits? I guess I'll find out soon.
I love the LOTR books and the Harry Potter series but prefer LOTR. I watch a lot of stuff like it as well. I like to get lost in these different worlds where the impossible is possible. My favourite period of history is UK WW2, which I think a lot of people like as well but I had a great grandad who fought in WW2 and told me all about it and showed a lot of his uniform and medals, so I think that's why I'm so interested.
Oh nice I like reading those genres, I couldn't wait for the 2nd LOTR movie to come out after watching The Fellowship of the Ring and ended up reading the book of the Two Towers when I was a kid before the 2nd film came out haha, but recently I'm also getting into retro sci-fi.I would like to go back and give the Silmarillion another go but the text is too chunky for my AuDHD.What is your fave period of history btw?
Aw thank you. They are a fantastic and interesting animal, I love the natural world. There is another user here coincidentally also called bees though but has a different profile picture and who joined many months after me, display names don't get reserved so they didn't realise until we crossed paths here lol, so just a heads up if you see them around too we aren't the same folk or alt accounts.
I like your pic by the way I love bees.
