Hi im new

Hi, ive never been on one of these sites, so im mot sure how to start.

I dont know how much people disclose on here. I just know i need help support, advice....anything!

My daughter was diagnosed with ADHD and ausbergers 2 years ago and its just been such a struggle.

She doesnt cope at school, has food issues, has self harmed.

This are very overwelming for me, im a single parent of 2

Im trying to find a support group in my area, i need to have support from people who understand my struggles. My heart breaks to see her struggle!

This seem to be gettjng on one hand-but worse on the other

She falls out with friends all the time, and has never managed to keep friendships for any length of time......im really tired of everything at the moment

On the NAS website they have area-specific support:

As a single parent, you could ask social services for an assessment of your need as a carer. This could give you some respite care.
Does she have a statement of special educational needs at school? If not, I would apply for one for her (which you are entitled to do as her parent):
https://www.gov.uk/apply-special-educational-needs-assessment
Is your daughter getting support from CAMHS for her mental health? If not, you should ask for a referral from your GP.
You could also Google for social groups for young people with Asperger's in your area. This would give her some outlet for friendships with others with the same issues, as it is challenging maintaining friendships with neurotypical peers at school.
You could also set up your own support group and meet other parents of children with ASC/ADHD, you could ask your local Parent Partnership for advice on this as maybe they can put you in contact with other parents in your situation:
