Hiii.
I’m K. I don’t really know what to put in an introduction so I think for now I’ll just say, I have Autism and ADHD. I’m not working. I still live with my parents. I like music. Interested in writing, it’s the only thing I did really well in at school + university. Also interested in reading and watching stuff. Not good at problem solving, not the brightest bulb I guess. I love nature and going for walks, taking photographs.
I joined this site to find others who are like me and hopefully can understand where I’m coming from as my family unfortunately don’t understand and put a lot of pressure on me.
Hoping this will be a very positive thing for me being here.

Family can be so much pressure! I don't think they always mean to be so pressuring but it can negatively impact my life and my confidence.
Thanks I don't feel so alone now either. I don't think it's a massive problem still living at home but there is a bit of a stigma attached to it.
Hi and welcome.
Mine don't go out and meet people. Keep on saying I'm good knowing what is going on. Then I get moaned at.
Welcome to the forum.
I enjoy photography as well.
Can relate to this being put on pressure me. I get asked are you working? Try to explain that I belong to a group and show them a leaflet. Few days later ask me again. Very annoying.
Worst was relatives going behind my back, wanted to do something different for my birthday. Give me money to do a training course or hiking holiday. Also paying for my pension contribution (DWP is doing a rare thing for people to top up); I wouldn't be in this mess in the first place, if had aftercare after 11 years in a bad place. Tried to explain 4 times why I'd left and nobody listened.
Would of stayed if had better people.
Welcome to here! I hope it's useful to you.
Always good to see another walking & music person. And it makes me feel a little less bad when someone else still lives with their parents.
Welcome K.
