Hi all I'm claire and my 9 year old son has just been diagnosed with asd I'm still struggling to get my head around it all hoping to chat to people in a similar situation I have 4 children age 12 9 7 and 3 so have a handful at home iv been threw a lot to get the diagnosis including a permenet exclusion from primary school and still waiting for a statment to be released

  • Hi - welcome.  You'll get a lot of support + info on this site.  If you haven't already have a browse around the home page + also the posts.  Sounds like you've had a tough time getting the diagnosis.  Do you know at all when you'll get the statement.  It's so stressful, to put it mildly.  How's your son doing?
