I was diagnosed with Autism in China since I was little. But my report was disappeared because in that society culture parents are shamed to have Autistic kid like me. How can I get support and diagnose when I am in the UK? I have request my GP to put me through the assessment but it will be taking 2-4 years to get diagnosed. I have been in the UK for 4 years and I don’t have any family here, It is difficult for me to cope with life during waiting.
It’s difficult for us to advise you unless you can be a bit more specific about the difficulty’s you are facing (aside from the difficulty’s with diagnosis those are too familiar)
