Hi

Hi. Today at the age of 19 and a half my daughter was finally diagnosed with Aspergers. We both feel like a weight has been lifted from our shoulders. We know this is just the start of a long road but the fight to get this far has been intense and at times over whelming

  • It's good to finally have an answer isn't it?  Sort of a vindication, relief and peace of mind at last.  Now you need to concentrate on what support she needs, if any and apply for benefits you are entitled to.

If she is dependent on you, Carer's Allowance, and for her DLA.  She can also expect reasonable adjustments (in law) in any education and other situations.
