Hi! I wanted to join this community, because after years of researching, I feel as though I am in a position to offer support and guidence to autistic individuals and their families.

    I'd be wanting to know if you actually have first hand lived experience of Autism, before being very interested in receiving that "advice and guidance". 

    I've become quite tired of receiving well meaning but inappropriate advice from "people who understand me better than I do myself"..
