My 18yr old Son is autistic and won’t socialise, he just wants to stay in his room, I just want him to have friends as at the moment he’s only interested in being with me, he’s not good with groups and I did try that, I’m worried about him, any advise?
I concur.
He needs to know himself, before he can know others.
let him do that
we enjoy being alone while groups stress us
making friends isn't easy and takes time, it might or might not happen at some point, I met my first friend when I was 28y.o.
