Hi my daughter is 7 she was diagnosed with autism selective mutism and sensory processing disorder my question is where do u turn for support after a diagnosis as since my daughters diagnosis her behaviour and melt downs at home have become unbearable and I’m not sure where to turn for support as there’s only so much support u can get from school tho that’s next to none either we are awaiting echp but there back logged by 6 months plus!!!
Hi, I'm sorry you're daughter is going through this and that you are finding little support sadly there's not a lot of support out there. Have you talked to the GP about getting more support? The national autistic society might be able to put you in touch with some services that might be able to help you and your daughter.
In the meantime please do look at these pages here on the national autistic society, it might be of some help hopefully.

This page might be of help as well as it is about post diagnosis for parents.

And this one is about education which might also help.

I hope this is helpful for you and your daughter.
