Hi my names Michelle, my son aged 2 years 8 months is currently being assessed and we have good days and bad days. I think we always thought something was wrong at an early age when he never met his milestones. He has no speech whatsoever and he is currently attending speech & language therapy, OT, including others. The specialists have said he is possibly on the autism spectrum but he has still to be diagnoised.

  • Hi Crystal, he is doing fine, its his dad & me that are all over the place. He has been getting a range of different assessments done since Oct 2012 but nothing has been confirmed yet. The speech therapist has started Makaton with us as well. He is also at nursery early, and i feel there is so many people in his life at the moment that i wish the diagnois would come soon. Im glad to hear your son finally spoke at 5 years old and is happily settled in school.
