Hello everyone,
I am 30 a year old male and have just been diagnosed ASD. I can mostly say I am relieved that I now have an explanation, but my thoughts aren't always that positive. I seem to have become more aware of my difficulties, which appears to be causing me more frequent frustration. (I hope that makes sense)
Anyway, I was just wondering about other people's experiences with being diagnosed as an adult, and whether you may have any tips?
Thank you
Hello, I was recently diagnosed age 55. It’s been much of a relief for me even though I’ll still have difficulties. I feel confident about the future and I feel that the only way is up. Take your time with everything and wishing you all the best. My partner and family are very supportive although some friends ( not many) have been very surprised. All the best.
