Hello from Northampton

Hello. I only got told about this site today and Id like to introduce myself. I'm Ashley in moulton. I'm 21 and have aspergers. Diagnosed a few years ago. It didn't make school easy or making friends. I've got support which is helping and i go to a group of people with aspergers. Does anyone else got to groups. I'd like to talk to others and meet new people, learn how they live with autism.

It was difficult. People didn't understand me, nor did my perants understand my behaviour. With the diagnosis that changed. People understand me more. I have a support worker who sees me every few weeks. I write thoughts and feelings in a book which I give to her.

Hi - welcome to the site. Lots of people on here who understand, so you've come to the right place. Looks like it took a very long time to get your diagnosis - that must have been a difficult, long time for you. What support have you got as well as the asperger's group?
