My name is Fran, single mother of two. Son 11 with ASD and a daughter 8. Been widowed seven years. Son diagnosed ASD last March, he has just started secondary with no statement as these are like gold dust. School ife a nightmare, home life a constant routine and tail chasing experience. Family think diagnoisi is wrong, that I am being neurotic or over protective and that he will be fine. So plenty of support as one can see.
