newly diagnosed son

Hi everyone, my son is 6yr old and newly diagnosed with ASD, accompanied with global delay and possible adhd, this is the first time ive used this type of forum so just thought I'd say hi.

Parents

  • He is OK at school but just ok. Because there isnt much structured (chair and desk) learning and he has 1to1 all day he is coping, he's incontinent which makes things more difficult for the school as mainstream school.  He doesn't read or write and had limied speech. Its a difficult one but we think he will be happier in sen school in the long term. X how's your son doing?
