Hello 

  • Late 50s autistic male here. I was diagnosed when I was 53 and whilst the diagnosis made a lot sense in terms of my behaviour during my earlier years, I have found that is become harder and harder to find support for people in my age group and I suppose more generally it is very difficult to connect with people and understand them. I have real struggles with empathy and over the years the disconnection from others gets more and more pronounced. Does anyone here have similar experiences?
