Hello

Hi, I'm new to the group so thought I'd introduce myself. 

I'm a parent of a 16 year old who received his diagnosis 4 years ago. 

He's been struggling a lot over the last year with his mental health, which has sadly been expressed through self harm and a sucide attempt earlier this year followed by a 6 week stay in a mental health hospital. 

We are getting support from CAMHS and now also from a SEND service but I was advised to join this group by a friend as she thinks I could do with talking to other people who may be in a similar situation.

If anyone has been through anything similar, I'd love to hear from you - I'm coping, just about, but knowing we're not the only family in this situation would be a big help.
