We are in Buckinghamshire so I am afraid I don't know about Yorkshire. We are currently trying to find a school to suit him as he did not cope at mainstream when he went up to year 7 - in fact that was how the diagnosis finally came about - was it like this for you?
We have just got a draft statement for him and are hoping it will be our ticket to getting him into a special school, at the moment he is getting home tutoring of an hour a day from the LA but he really wants to go to school but is so worried about not fitting in.
