Hi, I’m Sarah. My 5 yr old girl has recently been diagnosed as Autistic (Aspergers) with SPD. I also have a 9 yr old girl who tends to bear the brunt of her sister’s behaviour. I’m feeling overwhelmed with the amount of learning I need to do to understand Autism and to make their worlds better
also search for things to read in the NAS advice tab or click the topics below the search bar and read stuff
www.autism.org.uk/advice-and-guidance
its worth ringing our NAS helpines they may have contacts in your area and there is a parent to parent emotional support helpline
parent TO parent ----- ring or online query form

Hi Sarah, sorry that you feel overwhelmed, you might have realised this, but the NAS do a lot of guides on different topics that you can search for on their website - and they seem to get to the point and not be too overwhelming.
