Hi I’ve been interacting more with this forum since I first posted a couple of months ago. I was starting to struggle to pick myself out with the generic NAS username so I’ve updated it to make myself more recognisable and added some info to my profile (FYI mods my new username is a computer game character, just in case anyone thought it was my actual name!)
Brief reintroduction I’m a mid 30’s female, currently undiagnosed. Still pondering whether or not to save up for private assessment. I’ve never really fitted in at school or uni but I’m quite comfortable doing my own thing now! I’ve worked in my current job for 11 years now so they just seem to accept me for me! At least they haven’t said if they don’t! My online screening test results and some basic info is on my profile if anyone happens to be interested
Hi part of what is holding me back is I’m married, kids, stable job etc I’m not sure a GP would want to know
Hi, I hope people can give you some advice - I've just been assessed privately but am still wondering what I made of it - I won't go into details. Is there no way you can get an NHS assessment?
