    All the best,

Children
  • Yeah! Absolutely.

I work for an educational service for looked after children and if mum can't cope occasionally they take children into care to ensure their needs are met, but unless there is outright cruelty or abuse on the parent's part, the object of the exercise ought to be to restore the relationship between parent and child and to help the parent into a position where they can cope, as it can also be damaging to the kids to be away from the parent long term.

Being autistic isn't in itself a reason to deprive you of your kids or your kids of you.  But, it might mean they need to do a lot more FOR YOU, so you in turn can do more for the kids.

Obviously, I don't know your situation or what their reasoning was, but aidie is right, both you and the kids have rights and you do need professional advice here.
