Hello all

Hello, I was here years ago but lost my way a little bit :-)

Parents
  • My autistic son is nearly 28. He lives at home with us (mum and dad) and basically lives in our front room all day, every day, playing games.

He is not  independent at all and this lockdown has made him a lot worse.  He used to go to college, have an hour at the local library helping out.  Then as soon as he hit about 22 it all stopped.

There doesn’t seem to be any assistance out there to help.  It’s like he doesn’t exist.

We have never had any respite or break and it is taking its toll Cry
