Hi,
I'm a parent of a 15 year old boy with autism, we are in the south east but relocating next year to Scotland. Just wanted to say hi!
He has come along leaps and bounds since senior school, really come out of his shell more which is great, he still has heightened anxiety which does cause him to miss some days of school. We generally get an idea of when he is heading this way due to his OCD getting worse and his routines that he does before certain things, getting dressed, going to bed become longer. It's his way of trying to cope with things.
We are hoping a change of pace in life in Scotland will benefit us all.
Buy some woolie jumpers . what part of Scotland are you moving to ?
Haha yes we will, we are looking at the East Fife area, my eldest will be going to St Andrews Uni as well.
