Hi everyone,
I've been a member of the forum for a few days now and I've replied to a few posts but I realised that I hadn't actually introduced myself.
I'll be honest, I was never great at introductions!
Just thought I'd say that I've only been recently diagnosed after years of suspecting Asperger's since I was always a little 'different'. My hobbies are reading (I love books!) science fiction and I have a fascination with cities and urban studies. The book that I am currently reading is the Lord of the Rings and it is great!
Already this forum seems like a nice place and I'm quite excited to interact with people!
I've just watched the Chris Packham doc about Astbergers, (and other things). That's it. That's me. I have cried for twenty minutes since it finished. At 57, I finally know what's "wrong" with me.
I watched the documentary last night and it was really good, I enjoyed it very much and I related to a lot of the things that Chris said.
