Hi everyone, I'm Ben.
I've been following the forum for quite some time so thought I should maybe make myself known.
I'm getting on a bit but not quite past it yet, I hope.
Thank you Ethan.
Hi Ben
Welcome. I'm newly diagnosed (mid-forties).and new to.the forum.
Great to meet others in the same boat (not that it was great we were diagnosed late, but you know what I mean ,)
Glad you've joiined
Thank you Aidie, I mention that I'm older as I believe early diagnosis to be a great advantage and wish that younger folk have a better time of it than I did; we do, I hope, live in more enlightened times.
Hi Plastic
I was finally diagnosed / assessed in my sixties. To have a self-diagnosis validated, at whatever age, brings peace of mind, so idealy the earlier the better.
yes of course the oldest was a lady near 100 ,french, who escaped the N azis in France youngest was a girl who was 16 and considered anyone over 25 middle aged / ancient no need to tell us your age in fact i have no idea why u mention it as we have no way of knowing and it does not matter
so welcome to this forum Ben
Welcome aboard - there's plenty of room for us old farts here - I'm mid 50s - diagnosed in my early 40s - how about you?
