Supported living

My son has now moved into supporting living  in August after 22 years of having him to wake up to in the morning and the lovely hug he gave me before he went to bed. Now my heart feels empty and so is my home.  And now it’s all hitting me now. .

  • i don't know how you might feel

but i am sure he may feel anxious and all sorts of emotions but also pretty pleased with himself that he managed to get to some sort of independence which he may or may not ever think that he will reach

i am in care and i am working extremely hard trying to get to that point so i can understand a little of what he may feel
