I’ve been visiting these forums for a few months now. I thought it’s time I said hello. I am a 31 year old male and diagnosed with ASD this year. I like many things, some of the things I enjoy include gardening, reading, walking, piano music, puzzles, colouring. I live in North Yorkshire.
I just planted some wild flowers call "Fireweed". I planted this "weed" because you can eat all parts of the plant. The root is like a white carrot. It a forgotten and mostly unused herb but it is free !
It grows everywhere. You can see it on waste ground and distrubed ground ( building sites )
aka spukWu’say (Twana), willow herb, Epilobium angustifolium.
Yes I like it. There’s many plants such as this that I wouldn’t personally classify as a weed. Someone once said to me though a weed is only a plant that is in the wrong place.
