Hello All

Hello All

I have lived with Bipolar for 35 years. Then 4 years ago I was diagnosed with mild Aspergers.

This experience is quite common from reading up on Aspergers.

Often times I'll experience a challenge such as feeling very self-conscious when people are walking towards me on the pavement. It's a physical sensation like a form of threat.  I try to ignore this sensation by telling myself that is not really happening. However, this can then lead to paranoia/psychoses, believing that those same people are talking about me, often laughing in a cruel fashion. This can lead to isolation and anxiety about leaving the house.

I'd like to ask if these sorts of experiences are quite common with autism? I get the feeling the thoughts are always going to be there. The question is how do you ensure that you live the best life you can lead.
