Hello. My name is Niamh and I am 22. I have just recently gotten my official diagnosis (but I have known for a long time) and feel a lot better now that I know what’s going on with me. I am still trying to find support. I have to stay in lockdown due to Covid-19 Guidelines and I’m struggling with being around everyone in the house. I’m very bored and out of routine. Just wanted to pop online and say hello, and hope everyone is doing okay.
Welcome Niamh. Hopefully by being diagnosed now - you will be able to build supporting systems in your life both for work and home. I've just been diagnosed at 49 and my daughter at 16! It is difficult dealing with such a fast changing world during covid 19 - so I sympathise
No worries :) it’s something I’m trying hard to do :)
Thank you very much. It has made a big difference for me. I don’t usually talk with other people. It’s nice to know others understand how I feel and how I can struggle. Thank you for being very friendly and accepting.
I try to make an effort because I know how much I struggle socially, knowing that others do too, a figured that a hello can make a big difference :) I’m often about on here now or if you are in need of a chat feel free to send me a direct message :)

Hello, thank you for your reply. I am unsure of what type of ASD I have, the report did not say exactly but it said that I was ASD
