Since I never really introduced myself I thought this would be a good time.
I'm in my late 30's, working with people of various backgrounds explore their own psychology in my 'real life' circles through various roles from friend to volunteer positions since I was 14 ish. Being here is one way I'm trying to scale that up using the internet.
I have made many mistakes on this, most particularly as some have pointed out getting sidetracked into pointless arguments that have disrupted this forum. For that I am truly sorry.
I offer no excuses for this, all I can do is resolve not to be drawn into it going forward. Apologies to Angel Short again in particular.
Hi! Welcome to the forum. Online forums can be tricky to navigate, so don't be too hard on yourself :)
I'm 25 and currently awaiting my autism assessment (it's a long wait so far!).
All the best my friend!
Yeah I misread the rules on social media links and personal details when I joined, like that they changed the wording as well to make it clearer.
My secondary reason for being here was to learn from others already here, and picked up some really valuable tips from your posts. As for the rest I'm glad we can agree to disagree and move on.
Its great news you are no longer peddling your YT channel here(which NAS Forcibly removed)
It takes humility to accept mistakes made and realising gross errors in advice given on YT and there potential dangerous effects.
To the point YT are looking into the subject matter raised by 3 concerned YT members.
Welldone to you for realising the errors..
All the best
Welcome to the forum!
We all make mistakes. It’s called being human. It takes courage to admit to having made a mistake and to apologise for it. What’s important is to ‘try’ to learn from our mistakes (although I won’t pretend to be great at that either ).
Welcome :)
