Hello everyone,

My name is Jan. I've had many issues with both of my boys but one has been recently diagnosed with ASD - Aspergers and Dyspraxia, hence me joining the site.

I'm looking forward to chatting with other families in similar situations and hopefully gain some knowledge and support.

  • hi jan, welcome! hi vixx, i have 2 children diagnosed asc, 1boy 1girl. also 2 children under assessment. life at our house is interesting to say the least. hope you  get lots of encouragement and good advice here, everyone seems really good at chipping in when they think they can help in any way, maybe you could do the sameSmile of course its also a good place to chat and let of a bit of steam.

  • Hi I'm new to this Site, I have 2 amazing boys aged 7-8. My eldest was diagnosed last year with aspergers and adhd and was told 2 weeks ago my youngest has aspergers too, just wondered if anyone else has more than 1 child with same. Xx

  • I am sure you will find so many useful things on the site and within the community.  It has been a great support to me since I joined a year ago (our 4.5 yr old has ASD) and although it took me some time to get things out in the open and get involved, everybody here seems welcoming, understanding and helpful. 

  • Hi it's good to be here after many long years where my lovely 24 year old son has been sent down mental health routes and diagnosed bipolar and depressed. Luckily he didn't take the prescribed drugs. Only when my boss suggested High Functioning Autism because her own son is autistic did the penny drop and the fastest express train hit us both with a massive sense of relief. It's all falling into place at last. We agree we have found each other again!
