Autism friendly spaces

Hi all

I am interested in getting to know more about your experience of autism friendly spaces. Are these actually out there? I am wondering whether you know of any businesses that specifically cater for those with ASD such as soft play centres, toy shops or supermarkets. Are you aware of a toy shop that has specific sections for Sensory and ASD friendly toys? If so who and where? Do these sections make it accessible for those with ASD? Do you know of any soft play centres that specifically cater for those with ASD? Again, if so who and where? Have you experienced any shops or supermarkets that have made things more accessible?

I am really interested in this area of accessibility after working with and teaching students with ASD and the difficulties I faced finding facilities out in the community suitable to access and that wasn’t isolating. 

What is missing? What is needed?
