Hello, I am new.
I am 31 years old, female, and I live with my cat in Surrey. I was diagnosed with AS 5 years ago. I work part time as a dry cleaner, and I have just started university studying Animal Care. I am enjoying my course, but it is not without its difficulties. I receive mentoring support, but my mentor was rubbish and I've managed to get a new one who I will start seeing in 2 weeks. I am very shy and have a lot of difficulty approaching new people, and of course everyone is new at the moment! So it's difficult to make new friends and ask my tutors for support.
Just to make life really interesting, as well as AS I also have ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, which makes me feel tired a lot, a lot of aches and pains, and I faint a lot. Though I haven't fainted at college yet!
