Thanks all
I change my picture hope it's OK it's one of my favorite movies.
Of course it is What film is it from?
Hi duckbread
Its young guns and the picture is from one of my favorite bits of the movie.
Did they give you a time frame while on the waiting list. so atleast you would know what's going on.

Glad you managed to get sorted (even if the GP wasn't very helpful). Hopefully it'll be my turn soon
That sounds like it could be useful - hope it goes well.
Yeah definitely
Hopefully he will be in there real soon
Similar story here. Time frame from talking to my GP (who was very dismissive, but out of the blue referred me anyway) to getting a diagnosis was about 8 months in total. It seems we've been lucky going by what DuckBread has had to deal with so far.
Well they were saying about me getting some access to groups were I can get help and meet others.
Thank you - I'm hoping it'll be soon. Have they explained what the final appointment is for?
From what you have said you should be in there soon now.
I still got to go back for one more appointment
The referal from the doc took a few months then at each appointment it was 2 months before the next one.
Iv had a 3 appointments so far and was told my diagnosis I was assest and done the assessments in those appointments.
From when I went to the doctors to now has been about 9 months.
I haven't seen that film before - maybe I should give it a try.
They keep giving me time frames and then extending them when I follow them up. I was referred in December 2018, and they told me they'd get back to me in March 2019. I called in April and they said it'd actually be June/July. I got my pre-assessment questionnaires at the end of July and was really hopeful that that meant I was nearly there, but I called the assessment centre last week and they told me it'd be "another few months, but probably by the end of the year" before I was seen.
I wish they'd just give me an accurate time frame - the waiting game is frustrating, and it gets stressful when you're prepared to be seen within a certain time frame and it doesn't happen.
How long did you have to wait?
