Hi from Twickenham

Just to say hello.  Autism is a big part of my life.  My sister is severely affected, she is non-verbal and in residential care. My son is 3 and was diagnosed 12 months ago and has just started at a specialised nursery unit. He thank goodness is talking a bit but delayed. My nephew is going through assessment.  He is very bright especially in maths and language but has some social difficulties. And me, well all my family reckon we're above average AQ, but I think I'm particularly well up there. finally I'm a maths teacher at a college so I also get to teach some amazing kids with ASD.  Kids that give me great hope for my son.  X
