Hi i work in a mainstream school with two boys who are on the Autistic Spectrum. One has a diagnosis of Aspergers Syndrome and the other appears on the spectrum, although he does not have a defined label.
We as a team and the families of the boys concerned, have worked together through all the difficult times and continue to through the unpredictable years of adolesence and puberty.
I f anybody would like any advice on Secondary School, hints tips or suggested modifications to suit the autistic child, i would be glad to help.
