Hi everyone,
Well I suppose I better introduce myself. I am a university graduate and my brother has Autistic Spectrum Disorder with associated learning difficulties. I have wanted to join this community for some time. I want to be able to discuss autism in a safe/positive environment with other people.
I am currently aiming to become a speech therapist. I am really passionate about helping people. I currently volunteer as a speech and language therapy assistant with the childrens hosipital. I am learning many things outside of my personal experiences. I am also going to be studying a British Sign Language course soon, which I am very excited about.
Overall, I am looking forward to taking part in discussions on autism.
