I'm in my late thirties and a woman and believe I have ASD. I've made an appointment with my GP to get a referral to our local diagnostic team. I'm now reading lots about ASD and many experiences particularly of women are like reading about my own life. I know I may have trouble being taken seriously because *gasp* I'm female, have a steady job, a long term partner and child but I have also always felt different, had years of mental health difficulties, social difficulties and have high sensitivity in terms of senses of emotions so let's see where this goes. I look.forward to chatting with you all.
