Hi there,

I'm new here, so hello all!  I have two sons, 7 and 9 both with autism and the eldest also has a diagnosis of adhd. Both have statement of special needs, thankfully, for support at their school.  I'm single too but dad is nearby and has loads of contact with them which helps a little.

I'm sure most of you are experiencing a stressful time right now with the school holidays - I've spent most of the day in tears and thinking i'm the worlds worst mother - but I shall find another discussion board for that rant!!

Hello all again!  Really looking forward to any help and suggestions from you guys along the way.  Thanks for having me!

  • I am so feeling it in the holidays, My little girls is 6 and the loss of routine is also causing us problems.

    I have spent many days in tears, the idea of staying in for another day or attempting to go out, I dont drive and my daughter finds public transport difficult so before even got anywhere im even more stressed.
