Hi there,

I'm new here, so hello all!  I have two sons, 7 and 9 both with autism and the eldest also has a diagnosis of adhd. Both have statement of special needs, thankfully, for support at their school.  I'm single too but dad is nearby and has loads of contact with them which helps a little.

I'm sure most of you are experiencing a stressful time right now with the school holidays - I've spent most of the day in tears and thinking i'm the worlds worst mother - but I shall find another discussion board for that rant!!

Hello all again!  Really looking forward to any help and suggestions from you guys along the way.  Thanks for having me!

  • hi leanne Smile its nice to meet you, i am surprisingly doing really well during the holidays , since i have no children Laughing , i do have a partner with aspergers 

    i dont know anything about kids or how to deal with kid issues but i can be here for support or just random bits of advice on kid issues that have no experience behind them Laughing

    sorry you have been feeling a bit cr*ppy , im betting you arent a bad mother in any way, a bad mother wouldnt bother caring, you care and thats obvious, so stop beating yourself up
